Preliminary Requirements for Submission

Any undergraduate student doing psychology-related research is welcome to submit! First, please read the submission requirements here for important details about pre-publication screening, conflicts of interest, etc, before following the link at the bottom of the page to submit your article.

  • Must generally be about Psychology and Psychology-related topics.
  • At least 10 references for empirical papers, and at least 12 references for literature reviews (more than 15 is preferred).
  • Must mostly follow the structure and format of a Psychology research paper, which includes having an Abstract, an Introduction, a Methods Section, a Results Section, a Discussion/Limitations section, and References. This also means a paper eligible for review should be mostly-adherent to APA formatting, even if there are some mistakes.
  • Must make citations for most claims (preferably all claims) and generally communicate with language that is appropriate for Psychology research.
  • Must be longer than 5 pages (not including references) and must be shorter than 25 pages (not including references). If your paper was longer than 25 pages but you have otherwise met criteria 1-3 above, please consider submitting your work to other journals! You may qualify for submission there.
