USER COMMENTS :

"Mac has open source so it allows me or anyone to program what they want. This allows for a lot of third party software that's beneficial for Apple's customers, like me. I love the little third-party software. It's not only cheap, but it's very useful. This is definitely one of the reasons I would stay on Mac."
-Khanh Le,
BerkeleyAlumni

"I loooove my mac because I don't have to worry about viruses or spyware. PC's may be cheap but with all the viruses and spyware I get, the money I spend on fixing it adds up. Plus, I waste a lot of time when my PC breaks down."
-Loan Nguyen,
UC Davis Undergrad

"I am a video editor and Mac is the BOMB when it comes to anything multimedia. It renders a lot quicker than PCs and is way more stable. Apple has great professional video software that PC's lack."
-Brandon Jones,
SF Academy of Art Student

"Honestly, I chose Macs because they look cooler. For what I need to do, it doesn't matter if I use PC or Mac."
-Quyen Doan,
UC Berkeley Undergrad

"It's beautiful. I'm in it for the aesthetics."
-GeeHo Wong,
UC Berkeley Undergrad

"Mac's are simple and easy to use. It's not overly complex and is intuitive for even people like me. "

USER COMMENTS :

"I prefer to use PCs because I'm used to it. I think you can do more on a PC and the interface is better. I wish it was nicer, like the mac, but it could be worst. I don't really have any problems with it. I have anti spyware and anti virus software so I don't really have to worry about those things."
- Matt Wong,
Arizona State Undergrad

"I can surf the net freely with my PC. Some websites like MTV or Launch don't support Macs. There's less software on Mac and I just like my PC better."
-Alex Aquino,
Diablo Valley College Student

"PCs have better games. That's the only reason I'm sticking to my PC. "
-Aaron Ortega,
Florida State University Undergrad

"PCs are better and faster in everyway. Macs used to be faster when it comes to video editing and graphics stuff but PCs have caught up. Macs are for beginners and PCs are for advanced users."
-Freddy Lee,
UC Berkeley Undergrad

"I couldn't afford a powerbook so I just bought a Dell. It works well for me. The support is really good too. "
-Stephanie Tran,
UC Davis Undergrad

"I chose PC because I want to know know what's in my system and which company makes it. I build my own systems and for Mac, I can't do that. I can't upgrade without having to go through apple and there just aren't enough third party vendors. Oh yeah, macs don't have right clicks."
-Jason Lee,
UC Berkeley Undergrad
