I am the magnetic field in a cloud chamber: occasionally splitting gamma radiation into electrons and anti-electrons which spiral in opposite directions to a quick stop; operating in a strangely improbable time-space resulting in occasional effects happening with great regularity. 
That was a tough one. I wanted to be a lead wall, but John already said that. Then I wanted to be concrete, but I already said that.
