Binky Lives!

Other than the translation into English, and the hiding of names to keep my employer from getting upset with me, this is an actual "conversion" I had today with MS Project:

Me:     I worked task X, 100% complete, for 0.25 hours, starting May 6.
Project: You started May 6 & spent 0.25 hours? Obviously, you ended Dec 31!
Me:     No, I ended on May 6.
Project: Well then, you spent 0 hours!
Me:     I spent 0.25 hours.
Project: Oh? Then you must of ended on May 7!
Me:     I ended May 6.
Project: Oh! I get it now! You spent 8 hours!
Me:     I spent 0.25 hours.
Project: On an 8 hour task? Clearly we should mark this as 0% complete!
Me:     The task is 100% complete.
Project: If you say so, skipper. Seems fishy to me...

Being a teacher I would expect to get peculiar responses to questions such as, "How else could you describe 0.25 hours?" However, that conversation takes the prize; it is truly scary, Icarus!
