Dangerous as in physically dangerous. And no, he was not thrown down with the mattress. The mattress was thrown down first. People reported seeing a mattress fall, then about ten minutes later the body fell

The mattress was dropped because the murderer wanted people to think that the man was out of his senses and wanted to sleep in open air. So he dropped the mattress and then jumped. But the detective found that no matress was missing from the victim's house and therefore he must hava been dropped by someone else from some other room.

But how do we (or how did the detective) know that the mattress actually has some bearing on the case at hand? Do the two have to be related?

| Sorry about that. He was dropped from the same building. Its possible to drop the guy from a different building but its easier for the murderer to drop the guy from the same building. on Apr 23rd, 2008, 6:28am, Azgard wrote:But how do we (or how did the detective) know that the mattress actually has some bearing on the case at hand? So, the mattress is thrown out as a test. Could be a test of : 1) Bounciness. If the mattress didn't bounce, the body most probably wouldnt. 2) Blood splatter. If the water bed mattress did not pierce, and water does not spill on the ground, the body would probably not bleed too much. 3) If people do not notice him hauling an 8 inch thick mattress, most probably they wouldn't notice him throwing a guy off. 4) The killer is the housekeeping staff. Nuff said..

The matress is a test to see if it will hit the statue? And he threw him from his own house which was in the same floor.

The killer wanted to dive in the swimming pool. He tried first with a mattress to see how much horizontal speed it needs. Ooops, fell on the lawn. He then tried with this pal who was on sleeping pills. Oops, fell on the statue. At that point he knew enough and dived into the swimming pool.

He threw the mattress between the statue and murderer's room (about half way horizontally). Then he threw the body onto the mattress which bounced onto the statue.

The mattress was directly below the statue; so no way he could throw the mattress from above the statue, as there was no strong wind.

The wind was really strong that day, so the killer 1st threw the mattress, to see whether the wind will take it to all the way to the gargoyle. So the statue is not directly below the above room, rather a few meters on the left.

The killer is a Klingon and he hates comfortable beds. Or the culprit was human without honor, so he put something on the ledge of the victim’s room, to lure him. I tell you, if he put beer I would go for it too. But, he glued the beer on the ledge with super glue, and then he released the mattress from above room. The mattress hit him on the head, and so he lost balance and fell. Then the killer went down and put some pills in dead man’s body, to look like he wanted to kill himself. This happened at night.
