A Naval Aviator fears sharks. He knows very little about them. He is flying at night in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when he has to eject. He lands unhurt in the water. Nobody comes to rescue him but he isn't afraid of shark attack. Why not?

He can't swim.  He will panic about the sharks later, when he has figured out how to float.

Well, we all fear but when there is no option we all do forget it and think about other things we have to do anyhow. May be, He is in same condition.
