We just copy off the constitution, make a few changes, and register with SAS. Then the organization just stays on paper until there's something for it to do. Mako and I were considering starting an "Anarchist Student Union" to promote Anarcho-Capitalism so the Cal Libertarians don't have to get involved in the sticky subject in the future. After this, it would be easy to start a generic ideology group ("Students for Individual Liberty"), and some sort of umbrella organization ("Berkeley Liberty Coalition"). After you do this, you start giving people the voluntary option to receive information from other libertarian organizations, and thus pool the power of the individual mailing lists.
