Did anyone write anything to the _Daily Cal_ about the recent admissions
statistics and subsequent protests?

When I was watching the protest this afternoon, I heard them chanting a
South African apartheid protest song.  I thought "The University of
California is _so_ not apartheid-era South Africa..."  (If the Chancellor
of the University is "personally call[ing] as many of these students as
possible" to encourage them to attend, the University is quite far from
behaving remotely like apartheid did.)
