A Short introduction:

This decal is a faculty-sponsored, student-run language program that operates under the UC Berkeley Decal Program. Our main goal is to provide an opportunity for students on campus to learn how to hold a conversation in Cantonese, a language spoken by 70 million people in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and many overseas communities. Its role in all aspects of daily life in the previously mentioned communities makes being able to speak Cantonese invaluable in those areas, one of which being the San Francisco Bay Area. Aside from language instruction, the program also enriches the students understanding of Cantonese culture, from food to entertainment.
