We hope everyone has had an enjoyable and rejuvenating summer! GASU (the Graduate Architecture Student Union) would like to invite you to join our email distribution list and attend a few upcoming events.
We’re welcoming all Arch Grads back to campus with a short hike from Bauer-Wurster Hall up to the Big C on Sunday, Aug 22nd starting at 11am. Join us at Ong & Ong Plaza for a little bit of exercise, a chance to meet other students in person outdoors, and some tasty snacks once we reach the top of our route!

Additionally, the Buddy Program is starting up again. If you’re interested in joining to meet and get to know some classmates, then fill out this form. Buddy meetings will be incentivized with food/bev, and this is a great way to meet other students with similar interests from across the department!

The ArchGrads Buddy Program will kick off with a Bauer-Wurster Hall Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday, August 24th from 2-3:45pm in the Wurster Hall Courtyard, there will be (individually packaged) food and drinks provided! Click here to add the event to your Google Calendar. The food and drink will be outdoors, but the scavenger hunt may take you indoors so be prepared to bring a mask!
Regular GASU Meetings will be held biweekly this semester, starting Thursday, September 2nd from 11am-12pm, (starting on Berkeley time) in the Ong & Ong Plaza. Click here to add our first meeting to your Google Calendar!

Finally, please make sure you have filled out the first question on this form to opt into the GASU mailing list. If you have already opted in to the buddy program, you do not need to fill out the form a second time. If you want to opt into the email list but NOT the buddy program, please just fill out the first question in the form. If you are not sure if you have opted into the mailing list in the past, please complete the form anyways. Being on this list will allow you to recieve communications about upcoming events (free food/drink!), ways to get involved, and opportunities to give feedback on the student experience.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this coming term!
