The End?

What to choose?

I have compiled here various information about digital dialect. Text, audio, and video are all viable methods of communication, but video lies the closest to forming a close relationship, one that is trustworthy. Its inherent nature in making digital face-to-face contact ranks it second only to actual physical contact.

Charles Handy put it best when he said, “Trust needs touch” (6). One develops a sense of human touch through the reproduction of his image online through video communication. Human society has to extend human interaction, or “touch”, through the processes of a machine and through the Web, in hopes of capturing and displaying what we feel as human presence.

I hope this website has become not only informational, but helpful in the choosing a medium of communication for today’s digital age. We are all growing up as “Digital Natives”.
