I'm a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. I'm also affiliated with the Romberg Tiburon Center for Environmental Studies at San Francsico State University where I conduct the majority of my research. At Berkeley, I'm jointly advised by Dr. Jonathon Stillman (marine ecophysiology) and Dr. Mary Power(freshwater ecology).

My research is broadly centered around integrative environmental physiology and I'm particularly interested in the molecular and cellular underpinnings of organism-level responses to climate change drivers in marine molluscs.

I also follow Major League Soccer (Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy) and have an undying love of the author Ursula K. Le Guin. If you haven't read her novel The Dispossessed you should check it out!
