Before it became what I now know as "Tau House", this place of residence on the corner of Channing and Piedmont was a sorority (Alpha Epsilon Phi). The legend behind the conversion of this property rests on a story of inappropriate drug use and Greek scandal. However, after this was all sorted out by the UC Regents and housing administration, I was able to call this place my home for a good freshman year at UC Berkeley.
