Mentorship Program

An extremely large portion of HUBBA’s mission is to support students who have interests or career aspirations in the corporate world. HUBBA believes that in order for students to be successful in these arenas, we must provide them with the proper academic and professional support from our members and the variety of resources that are available to us. The Mentorship Program is one channel that enables us to assist our members in these areas.

The main purposes and goals of the Mentorship Program are:

  • Personal and professional development guidance and support
  • Assistance in academics and classes
  • Resume development
  • Information on ways to get exposure to major or career aspirations

The requirements for mentees are:

  • Paid member of HUBBA
  • Willing to have a consistent relationship with mentor throughout the semester
  • Able to work hard to develop as an individual and student
  • Attend mentor and mentee socials or events throughout the semester

Requirements for mentors are:

  • Willing to mentor an undergraduate student throughout the semester
  • Have an interest in some aspect of business
  • Commit to your mentee and have consistent contact them at least twice a month
  • Remain committed to helping mentee in resume development, and other areas specified in your mentor application
  • Participate in mentor and mentee socials and events
