What Students Say

Hear what the students from the three most recent semesters say about their experiences in this class:

This is a great class with a great environment to help tailor us in our
own leadership style. There's a good balance of activities, lectures, etc. I am really enjoying myself and it is also enjoyable to see the personalities of others.
Genius course!

Very professional, personable, and enjoyable! Good job.

I really think I was fortunate to be able to stumble upon this
DeCal when I did. You guys did an excellent job conducting the course,
and I think there was really a large quantity of quality information, and it was presented in such a way that I feel it will impact everyone who was in the course.

All you guys do a great job: one of my best courses at Haas!

Thanks for making a 2 hour
lecture engaging and interesting. You guys have done a great job--I'll definitely recommend the class!

Shown Left: The class includes a number of group activities to help students gain a hands-on understanding of concepts.

Great job on presenting--It's very easy to follow and clearly
structured.
I also like the pace of the class: with breaks and
activities integrated with the lecture.

I learned a good amount of concepts that I am able to apply to
my own experiences. Keep up the good work!

All facilitators are very professional and knowledgeable!

I thought you guys were able to provide a lot of solid information
for our class this semester.

This course was one of my bright spots of my semester. Thanks. Keep
up the good work and don't change anything.

Great job facilitating. Although it was a 2 hour class, it went
by fast because you kept it interesting. Good mix of lectures,
discussions, and activities.

This is one of those classes I wish more people knew about,
it was a great use of two hours each week. Great job facilitators!

Initially, I wasn't sure how helpful this class would be. Now I'm so
glad I stuck with it--it's given me a perspective on leadership I don't
think I could have experienced anywhere else.

I really learned that leadership is not just how you deal with
others, but it is also how you deal with yourself. From the "True Colors" activity to learning about different aspects of Emotional Intelligence, it was very helpful to learn about oneself. Thanks for the great work!

This class went beyond just covering useful information to develop
leadership. I learned about world leaders, current events, and more
to observe different leadership styles. I definitely learned and
grew a lot from this class.
