The Chat Ended Without a Hitch...

The fanclub chat session we held today ended without a hitch.
But one person didn't come. (T_T) Maybe he was too busy...
At the beginning, everyone was a little nervous and awkward, and it was a bit like, 'OK, what should we talk about...'. But when the very last person got up at the end and said 'Goodbye', I felt really sad.
I hope we can do this again soon.

...is the first big 'MaBIC' fanclub chat session.
A lot of people applied to come, but I think it'd be best to just do it the first time with about 5 people or so, just to see how it will go. ^.^
Though I still can't do touch-typing, I've become pretty fast at hitting the keys! (^ ^)/
I look forward to seeing what kind of conversation we'll be able to have.
It'd be nice if we could do special things for chats...

Plans

2003/04/24

We've finalized plans for in-store events on May 3 & 4. I'll be singing songs from 'Masami Kobushi', but I'll be singing one or two more than I usually do, since this is a cover album and I probably won't be able to sing any of these songs at live concerts. After all, I want to express my gratefulness for having been given the honor to sing these songs for 'Masami Kobushi' and refrain from singing them too often. So, I'll be sure to sing with all my heart for these upcoming events.

JAM project

2003/04/23

This is a memorable day for me, as I released my first single as part of JAM.
'Little wing' is the opening theme for Scrapped Princess, and I provide the main vocals. It's a good song, but I also really like the coupling song, 'in the chaos'. It played once during the last episode of Galaxy Angel (I watched it) and I was very moved by it.

The other single is 'skill' from Super Robo.
While performing this one, I tried shouting a bit (somewhat too strainingly?).
I think it still sounds nice; but while keeping the vocal range of female singer, I'm going to keep training myself to sing more forceful songs!
All right, that's my goal.

On Sunny Days

I think about all of you who have come to my live concerts and to other fans and wonder, 'What kinds of things are they up to?" or "Are they doing their best?".
Then I start thinking, "I'll do my best, too!"
It's almost time to release my first single for JAM...

I got my beloved car, Masami-maru, appraised at a used-car dealership-like place yesterday....
They told me... it's only so-so, I guess...
I guess it really is time to buy another one... (T_T)
Since it'll only keep getting worse the more I drive it...

One Day Passes...

My bite and scratch marks have gotten a lot better. I guess I heal fast. (^o^)

I was talking to the apartment manager today, and we discussed how it seems, nowadays, that friendships with neighbors have weakened and how we'd like to strengthen those friendships.
Especially since there are sometimes burglars and acts of vandalism around us.
Everyone (especially those of you living alone), please try to socialize with those around you if you can. Well... that's what I believe.

Fire! Ow ow ow ow.... (T^T)

It happened early this morning (around 3am).
There was a huge commotion around my home!
It's only one apartment in a big apartment complex. I was about to go to sleep when I suddenly heard, "Pi~~ Pi~~ There's a fire in the building. There's a fire in the building. Please evacuate. There's a fire on Floor 'O'. Please evacuate." being sounded out from the emergency alarm system.
My first thought was to get Fuku-chan and Mii-chan (my cats) into their cages, so I had to chase them down through the din. Fuku-chan is usually very mellow and isn't too hard to catch, so after getting scratched twice, I somehow caught her.
Timid little Mii-chan, though, was running around wildly. Anyway, I knew that if I didn't hurry, the fire would surround the whole place, so I was starting to panic.
But I wouldn't have been able to just leave my cat there to die, so I fought frantically and finally caught her. I got 3 scratches and 4 bites...
My face got scratched, too... I ran like crazy...
But somehow I caught her.
After that, I grabbed my bankbook and a few other important things, then ran outside. I've never been so scared in my life.
Especially since Floor 'O' is my floor...
My neighbors also managed to get outside, and together we traced the source of the fire alarm to a certain room.
A couple that had just recently moved in came out from that room, but they were really bewildered and said that they hadn't been using any fire. A few minutes later, everyone in the apartment complex had been gathered into the first floor. The fire truck came...
It turns out, the smoke alarm in that couple's room had malfunctioned. For the next hour or so everyone just milled around in confusion, until a firefighter came and told us "We'll come back again later to check on things, so please, everyone go back to your homes."

So now at present moment... having been scratched and bit multiple times, I'm in a lot of pain...
My cats are really out of it because of all the stress they went through... I have to admit, I feel a little frustrated that all this was because of a smoke alarm malfunction.
But really, I suppose now I know how I act in emergencies and what things I should make sure I do if another emergency happens. It's good that is was just a malfunction.
It's important to prepare for emergencies before they happen, isn't it.
Well~~~ It's certainly been a long day.

Chihii and I

I ate lunch (and had a meeting) with Chihii and a few other people. [1]
After that, we went to play billiards!
I also took some pictures with Chihii on her handheld camera.
I think I'll go take a look at Chihii's diary. [2]

Oh... They Blew Away

All the wind and rain yesterday blew away the cherry blossoms from the trees in my neighborhood...
There are still some left, though.
Well, blossoms certainly are things that "bloom brilliantly, then scatter", aren't they. Even without them, the trees still look very impressive.

It aired without a hitch. What a relief. (^^)
I think it was a good ending to that project!
Youko-chan's singing was right on pitch, and the lyrics that she and Otasasa-san wrote were perfect for this coming season. It was raining in Tokyo, but it might have been more fitting if it had been good weather.
I'm looking forward to the release.
I think I should start memorizing my song lyrics for the upcoming 'Masami Kobushi' events.
Since I get the lyrics wrong even in the best circumstances...
This time, I'll be singing songs written by other people, so I'll have to practice even more than usual.
