Golden Week!

This is the start of Golden Week, isn't it. Well, I guess it depends on your schedule at work, though.
The weather's fine and there's a nice wind blowing, and I'm doing some housecleaning. I'd like to go for a drive, I'd like to do some shopping... So many things I'd like to do, but... oh, I'd like to go watch a movie, too! I want to go watch Casshern.[1]

No Entries Since Last Week

Lately, I've been getting saddled down with allergies. (T-T)
Is it pollen? Or is it sunlight? If it's because of the sunlight, then I'll have to watch out because of my "Photosensitivity" as summer approaches. I'll be needing sunglasses; in any case, it's gonna get complicated since I love summer and tropical states despite the fact that I feel worse and worse when the sun's very bright. But... Golden Week is coming soon.
When all is said and done, I still prefer the weather to be sunny rather than wet and rainy... even though the sunlight will be very strong.

JAM Singles Out!

"VICTORY" and "DRAGON" are out for sale.
This time, I wrote the lyrics to the coupling song for Super Robo, 'Yakusoku no Chi', so please take a look. JAM is really hustling along this year. It's even been decided that we'll be holding a live concert in my own beloved Osaka (more details in the NEWS section), so I'll have to go ring up a few old friends... (my fan and pals from LAZY). And, of course, we'll be going to Tokyo, too! Everyone, be sure to come...!

At a Party of Friends

...I received a "Home Bakery" device that's been sitting in a corner of my kitchen now for the longest time. Today, I tried baking my "Makkun-Trademark Bread" for the first time. (--)/
Normally, the preparing of the dough and baking processes should take about 5 hours, but I was in "Speedy-Bake Mode" so I finished in 2 hours. I think it came out rather well considering it's my first try. Ah! (**) I forgot to take a picture! (T-T) Next time, I'll prepare separate batches.

So then... I baked another batch. I think this loaf has a cute shape to it. (^~^)

Today I went to Yonekura Chihiro-san's concert at Shibuya O-East and Nogawa Sakura-chan's concert at Nippon Seinenkan! The two concerts started at the same time, so I kind of went "(T-T) Uh..." and worried over which I should go to, but since I wanted to see both, I ended up deciding to attend the first half of Chihii's concert and the latter half of Sakura-chan's concert. I haven't seen Chihii sing in such a long time! We worked together in r.o.r/s for only a short time, but I have a lot of memories from that that really came up to surface. And Sakura-chan, after she arrived, started playing the violin! After that, there was even a Chinese fiddle... I suddenly got the urge to try that kind of arrangement. I was able to sense the different "colors" of the artist, and at the same time as I felt moved by it I thought (yet again), "All right, I've got to do my best!"
In any case, Chihii & Sakura-chan: Good work!

School Induction Ceremony, Etc.

Yesterday and today, while I was entering the city I noticed that school induction ceremonies were being held at Shibuya Public Hall. Then, as I was driving along, I caught a glimpse of the middle school/high school induction ceremony. The weather was beautiful and cherry blossoms were dancing through the air... It really was the perfect weather, with such peaceful scenery.
On the other hand, something really stressful was going on at the same time.
The scenery looked peaceful, but it wasn't truly like that at all... Anyway, I started thinking, I should try treating someone a bit more gently!
Anyways.....

I watched report "Baranbanjou" featuring actress Sugita Kaoru-san. At first, I was watching it for no real reason, but I soon was able to witness something amazing about human life.
Like her, I'm in my 30's, so it got me thinking about a lot of things.
As a child, she was a big star, but at the same time she suffered from a lot of painful experiences.
What is happiness? I started pondering that question very deeply.
She's an excellent actress, so I hope she's able to push onward.
Well, I should push onward, too! (--)/
