But since you asked:   Hank Ketchum is the author of the long-standing comic strip "Dennis the Menace", about a little kindergartner named Dennis. Since both TV shows and movies have been made from this strip, which itself is not far below Peanuts in longstanding popularity, I assumed it was well known enough to use here without explanation.   (And yes, when translated into English, "Dionysius Exiguus" becomes "Little Dennis".) Resides on the other side of the pondm in a comic called "The Beano". A kid's comic. Went down hill, in my humble opinion, when Gnipper (Gnasher's son) was introduced.   but back to fray:   God's remote control, eh?
