What is the base? ------------------------------------------------------ 1310 1220 1211 0200 1303 1233 1230 1311 1310 1221 1233 1232 0200 1221 1303 0200 1303 1310 1302 1233 1232 1213 1220 1233 1230 1210 ------------------------------------------------------ I belive all this numbers has one number that is equal to all of them... i would like to know how to think to get it? Hint 1: The digits are all 0-3, so the appropriate base is obvious. Hint 2: The final solution is not a number. Hint 3: Each group of 4 digits represents a base-4 number from 0-255 (ring any bells)? All the values except 0200 are between 64 and 128. Hint 4: The ASCII character set that your computer uses to encode simple text maps each character to a 1 byte number - i.e., a number from 0-255. Answer: The numbers are base-4 representations for the ASCII encoding of the phrase "the solution is stronghold".
