I'm pretty sure I know 7 across, and think I know 2 down. If the second letter of 7 across is a T, then 1 down: A partial victory in court ( 6 )

In that case, the last letter of 2 down must be a D And I'll change 10 across to 10 across: Antelope makes a strange edible stew ( 10 )

(6) 15) Abstract rat [sic] is prejudiced (6) | | 1) A partial victory in court (6) 2) In one crazy confusion (4) 3) Companies blame bad instruments (8) 5 Down & 25 Down: (3,3,3,1,4) 8 Down) Pun it again? (6) 15) Agents of true mountains (8) |

Yes, that's what I intended for 1 down. Explanation of Grid1 9 across Set articles right, left, left, beginning at the end, like you mean it "Set" just indicates some letter rearrangement "articles"=the a "right"=r "left, left"=tfel "beginning at the end"= move the beginning letter (T) to the end =heartfelt. "Like you mean it" is a poor definition of heartfelt, sincerely would be better, but I wanted something you couldn't just look up on thesaurus.com

Note: I keep updating GRID2 in an earlier post. So, you might want to revisit that periodically.

Correct tohuvabohu. (Can we call you tvb, please?) A couple more clues: 15 Across) Abstract rat [sic] is prejudiced (6) 15 down) Agents of true mountains (8) (sorry if these are too easy, I will try to come up with harder ones next time)

| I am surprised you can't get 5 & 25 down. The middle word is not. As for 8 Down, I'm not sure it is a standard sort of clue either. Rephrase the clue to make a synonym, and the answer is an example of it.
