The month of January is one of the lean months for this bike share system and  visualizing the usage of the system for this particular month is helpful in understanding the geographical spread of the stations which are the most used in the system.

Insights gained from this visualization are particularly useful inputs in sighting decisions of future bike sharing systems like the one proposed in the East Bay as part of the Bay Area Bike Share system.
