Depression Treatment Study

Did you know?

- You're not alone. Depression is one of the top ten illnesses causing suffering and hardship to individuals and families worldwide.
- Treatment can help. Studies show that there are effective, non drug treatments for depression.

Who can join?

If you are 18 or over and are feeling depressed or have lost interest in your daily activities for at least two weeks in the past month, you may be eligible to participate in this research study.

How to join?

What happens if I join?

First, you will be interviewed to determine if you are eligible for the study. Then, if you are eligible, you will attend weekly, one-hour therapy sessions for 14 weeks. After you complete your treatment, we will ask that you complete two interviews, one following treatment and one six months after treatment is complete.
If you are eligible and decide to participate in the study, then we will compensate you for your time and cover your transportation cost.  Appointments will be scheduled at times that are convenient for you.
