Established in 2013, FEC aims to provide professional development, networking opportunities, and hands-on experiences. While the UC Berkeley campus had a variety of business professional student groups, the founders felt that it lacked an organization which combined both aspects of finance and entrepreneurship. As a result, the club was created in order to foster a small community where members can receive exclusive career guidance and internships. Since then, FEC has been experiencing a tremendous growth with over 70 applications each semester.
Through an application-based selection, we provide new members with the opportunity to acquire an early experience in entrepreneurship through hands-on business projects and workshops. FEC strives to create an environment where ideas can eventually turn into innovative pursuits. Each semester, a new group of analysts will come together to brainstorm their own start-up ideas. Throughout the year, each team will work together to turn their ideas into tangible products, web applications, mobile apps, etc.
Membership is open to all individuals who share our passion regardless of their major and professional background.
