History
In 1997,Quick Cross was made by the Great American Trading Company.
The Board
A 4x4 board with a cross shape in each space.
The Pieces
Each player has 8 pieces each.
Rules
To move: Players either place a piece or switch the direction of the piece in subsequent moves.
To win: The first person to get four in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally wins.
The first player places one of the sixteen pieces on the board in any direction. The next player then either adds a piece or switches the direction of a piece on the board. Play continues until one person gets four in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Variants
- Misere: To force your opponent into getting four in a row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
- Corners And Diagonals: The player to score all four corners or diagonals wins.
