Family System

What is the family system?

Aside from our weekly events, TASA also offers our members the opportunity to meet new people outside of the college setting through smaller meet-ups that usually take place on the weekends. The family system works with smaller groups within the larger TASA community, which allows our members to make friends through the comfort of a closer environment. Activities with the families usually include going out for dinner at the many restuarants around Berkeley, exploring places such as Emeryville or San Francisco, or even cozy game nights where members can make fresh baked cookies.

Hi everyone, and welcome to the Taihaowan (literally “too much fun” in Mandarin) family! As the name suggests, we like to have a lot of fun by meeting new friends and trying new experiences! Whether it’s going to SF together, karaoking, trying out the abundant food selection in the bay area, or even just studying together, we guarantee that it’ll be Taihaowan (get it…?). Come out to our events this semester and we promise you’ll have the time of your life. We’re so excited to meet you this semester!

Hey there! We're bringing back the Taiplay family for this semester: (Taiplay, Taipei - get it? heheh) Anyways, to tell you more about us, we're the Taiplay family because we love to play! You may wondering, play? Are you talking about outdoor activities, game nights, or food/cultural events? We respond with a resounding, yes to all of the above!

In the Taiplay family, we care about the needs of our TASA friends. Michael has been a devoted member for the past 3 semesters, and Catherine was a TASA intern last semester. We would like to cater to our members and ease them into a stress-free spring semester. Interested in scavenger hunts, barbecues, or hiking? Did you ever want to learn how to make certain foods? We want to make this family your destination for your fun-seeking needs. Welcome to Taiplay!
