President

Peggy Shih | Linguistics, French | Junior

Do you believe in magic?

Hallo! This is your eccentric super villian popstar 2.5 D President at your service. I currently reside in Dwinelle as a double major in Linguistics and French (with minors in Japanese and Applied Languages...all in Dwinelle) during the day and on Summoner's Rift (or my cozy bed) during nighttime. I hail from the legendary deserts of Dubai (no, the sandstorms from MI4 ain't real) and for 19 years have been an ardent traveller, diva, and drinks enthusiast. Nothing pleases me more than a good cup of boba (or cocktail, but we're trying to keep this PG18 here) and multiple shopping bags of clothes, shoes, and handbags. Walking into my 5th semester of TASA Cabinet, I am so honored to say that I am going to be working with my wonderful cabinet next semester as your President to bring more awesome events to your doorstep (or well, to Dwinelle and Wheeler's doorsteps). I am so excited to meet and talk to all of you! Hope you can make a good minion-uhm I mean, hope we can be good friends! :D

Treasurer

Gregory Tang | MCB | Freshman

Love means never having to be apart.

Hi everyone! I’m Gregory Tang, and I’m totally pumped to be your treasurer for Spring 2015. I recently moved from Austin to San Ramon, and am a true Texan at heart. I enjoy being active and exercising a lot. Counterintuitively, I love eating, and will often times go on random food splurges. I sleep a lot, and love taking one or two naps a day just because I’m lazy like that. The rest of my time, I allocate towards playing games and talking with friends on my computer. I hope to meet a lot of new people and make lots of amazing friends here at TASA, so see you all!

Webmaster

James Liao | Computer Science | Sophomore

Normal humans don't interest me. If anyone here is an alien, a time traveler, slider, or an esper, then come find me! That is all!

What's up, everyone! I'll be your webmaster for Spring 2015. I spend most of my time drinking boba, playing on my laptop and Nintendo 3DS, and/or watching anime. Oh, and I do schoolwork on the odd occasion. If I'm not lazing around in my room, I'm probably crying into one of the lab computers at Soda Hall working on a project or raising my sugar levels at one of the various boba places on southside. I love trying new things and pushing limits here and there, so if you want to go on a food adventure or something hit me up (so long as it doesn't break my wallet)!

Historian

Annie Lo | Computer Science | Sophomore

I like boba gulp gulp

Hey guys, I’m Annie and I will be your Historian for this semester! I am Taiwanese and was born in Taiwan, but grew up in Shanghai and came to Berkeley in Fall 2013. Some of my passions include photography, traveling, and eating, so let me know if there are any cool places to explore or good restaurants/cafes and I’d be down to go (: Brunch is one of my favorites but I rarely get up early enough for it because I also love to sleep (no shame in taking 2+ naps a day). I also really like to go shopping and I’m pretty sure I’d have a problem if I was somewhere like NYC instead of Berkeley. Since I’ll be living in an apartment with my own kitchen, I’m planning to bake a lot more and learn how to make lots of yummy food, so come by the TASA table and there might be cookies ;) Can’t wait to meet you all this semester!

Historian

Brian Sang | Computer Science | Freshman

Never underestimate the power of the scout's code.

Hi friends, my name is Brian and I'll be one of your historians this semester. I come from the mystical snowy land of Cleveland, Ohio and invite you to worship our lord and savior LeBron James. When I'm not crying about Cleveland sports I enjoy drinking boba (ask me about my blog - I probably spend just as much on boba here as I do on tuition), eating sushi, playing violin and erhu, jamming to KPOP and Classical music, looking for sales on shoes online, coding, some photography, and just sitting there doing nothing (try it out sometime). I look forward to meeting all of you at our events this semester!

Hi everyone! I'm one of your public relations officers for the spring 2015 semester. I'm a fervent tea lover, pilates princess, macaron pastry artist, and shopping addict. I'm glad to be representing the TASA family for another semester and hope to see all of you at our events!

Hi everyone! My name is Alice and I’m one of your public relations officers for Spring 2015! Even though I was born in Chicago and have lived in Philadelphia, Taiwan is home. Growing up in Taipei, I'm a big fan of tea, (cooked) food, and karaoke, so if you ever visit Taipei and want to have fun, hit me up! I love to sing (randomly) and watch TV shows and Korean dramas!! I’m very excited to meet all of you guys next semester!

Money can't buy life.

Hey y'all! I'm Winston and I'm one of your two TASA Outreach officers this semester [fyi I'm the more attractive, intelligent, and most definitely less conceited one of the two :)]. I'm a Mechanical Engineering freshman from Southern California (Orange County yeeee) and, thus, love anything from the OC (beaches, blue skies, 70 degree weather year-round, Arrested Development, etc). I love watching movies of any sort and just hanging/relaxing/burning so if any of you guys are down to chill ;), hit me up! I look forward to seeing all of you guys this semester!

Family Intern

Arno Chang | EECS | Freshman

Once you've had a taste of the poison, you might as well lick the bowl clean.

Hello friends I am Arno. I'm a freshman EECS major from the east coast (NoVA). I enjoy Asian culture (anywhere from visual novels to pop), games (I've played my fair share of MMOs), and Netflix (or an extremely 100% totally very legal equivalent). I've played just about every common sport except football/basketball, done martial arts and dance, and played piano and violin. If I were an RPG character I'd be an assassin. Without stealth. And I'd assassinate people with my fists. AMA.

I am a huge fan of basketball, Lakers all the way! I love people and food, they are my passion and what keeps me going in life. Oh yeah, love dogs. I have two pitbulls and I call them my babies. Hi, I'm Joseph and I am a 3rd year EECS major. I love food, sports, movies, dance, billards, and much more that I cannot possibly list everything here. I like to go on adventures and activities that are exciting and adrenaline-rushing (like skydiving!) Finally, I hope to meet you all and we look forward to a great semester!

Oh, hi there! My name is Emily Liu, but you'll probably hear the other officers call me ELiu for short. I'm finally retiring as an officer and becoming a senior adviser this semester. An interesting fact about me is that I love drinking hot tea, and what a better way to enjoy hot tea than in a tea float! Don't know what a tea float is? Come talk to me at the TASA table to find out (and also to learn about the awesome event that we're putting on this week especially for you). Enjoy the rest of your day!
