I know I may seem like prying, starting another survey, but but what is everyone's occupations, or desired occupations? No funnies for desired occupations. E.g. Condom tester.

My occupation currently is as a student full time.

That's nothing to laugh at, it's a very important and serious job. Every single condom has to be tested for leaks and strength before they can be packaged and sold, otherwise the buyer wouldn't know if it's reliable.

I am aware of the Who's Who? thread, I have referenced it and have added my details there. I thought that not enough details were known about them, so I thought I'd ask seperately.

I meant condom tester as a joke, in the actual one-off use, not the actual testing. Geesh, I was only messing around, I know it's a serious thing.

Since you know about the thread and have a good memory you should know most of our occupations and maybe just list the people whose occupation you don't; and maybe they will answer here  Wink Tongue

No thanks. I would probably just pm them for that. Tongue

Since they choose not to disclose it, if I ask them in person, and hold my tongue, then I may get a response. Wink

If people reply without me asking them personally it saves me some time.

A days:

1: AP Lang/Comp
2: AP world history
3: Orchestra
4: C++/VB

B days:

1: Research
2: Trig/Pre-calc
3: Chemistry
4: French II

Of all the classes, I like C++ the best, and hate research the most.

Your timetable is way simpler than mine. It spans 10 days, where I participate in English, Maths, Science (Chemistry/Physics), History (Russian Revolution), I.T., Religion and Society, Sport, P.E., Language Studies and Business Management. But, luckily I can drop most of those. Grin

No AP Calc/Stats/CompSci/Physics/Bio/Chem/etc.? Or have you taken most of these? Or are you more into the humanities? Just curious.  Wink

How's this for confusing, for GCSE I'm taking:

English
English Lit
Maths
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
Art
Geography
German (taking it a year early, be done by June)
ICT (only half, it'll be done by June too)
RE (also half, but not doing it until next year
Spanish
Citizenship (fortunately half course Grin)
Critical Thinking (techinically this is an AS level)

Oh, and my timetable's a 10 day one too.

I reckon I could probably make a decent prosecuting barrister, but I've got a few years before I have to decide.

Then again, this is a high school schedule, which, in most cases, is much simpler than college schedules.

Depends on what grade he is... most schools won't allow students to take the APs until they are upperclassmen... however they sometimes make exceptions for the really precocious Freshman and Sophmores.
LOL... with the exception of Comp Sci I had all those courses in high school... >.< made for some miserably long nights of homework. My recommendation to you munchkins is yes, take hard courses to challenge yourself, but don't over do it... balancing everything is the key and enjoy your high school years! You only get to live those experiences once and then you're out in the adult world.

And Aurora, Heilige Kuh! That is quite a list... just be glad you don't have those classes every day... that is one of the beauties of your system, at least in my school district, we didn't have block scheduling... every class, every day... 0.0 But anyway, that is quite load to carry. I wish you luck! And if you ever feel like practicing your German, I'm always in need of a way to keep from getting rusty.

I will probably be taking both AP calc and AP Stats next year, because I'm on trig/pre-calc right now. I will take AP comp/sci next year as well, once I finish taking C++ this year. I'm trying to work out a schedule for the sciences, because I'm still not sure what I'm going to take, because if I want to take AP physics, I will have to take physics first next year, or I can just take AP chem next year, then AP Bio. I can also double up on the sciences, but that means I will have to kick out any sort of music classes for next year.

The reason I'm taking only AP History and Lang/Comp is because I'm only a sophomore, and those are the only ones I can take right now.  Tongue

P.S. I have A+'s in both those classes right now  Grin

hehe...
I'm pretty much guaranteed a 5 on AP world history, but I'm not so sure about lang/comp. I'm not worried about the essays and the DBQ for history, but I'm not exactly the best at analyzing other people's essays.

Don't worry... world history is probably one of the easier AP exams... the most complex I ran across was the Physics. A fair bit of the history type exams is generally knowing how to interpret graphs, etc as well as of course knowing the usual important dates, etc. Lang/Comp isn't a bad test either... one I rather enjoyed. Know your literary terms!!! Probably the most important thing as far as the analysis type questions is you really need to explore who the audience is and the author's purpose... the good thing is they release old questions, so I'd highly recommend getting ahold of the old passages and multiple choice responses, practice and then check your answers. The CollegeBoard can be tricky little buggers on that test and often give more than one technically correct answer so you need to learn to think like the test designer to be able to determine what the correct answer will be in their eyes. Anyway, you are a long way off from the testing so enjoy life and don't stress out about it. You'll be ready and you've got a lot of practice time and improving time between now and then. Best of luck!  Smiley

I hate it when it's not a question of "Which is the right answer?" but "Which does the examiner think is the most right answer?"

Apart from anything else, I don't like the idea getting penalised for giving a correct answer just because it's not the (subjectively) "best" answer...
