Advocacy Committee is dedicated to the organization and management of CaHPSA’s advocacy campaigns throughout the semester. Members will have the opportunity to arrange legislative visits, work with advocacy organizations on and off campus, and learn more about both the legislative process and health advocacy as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Organize major advocacy projects on behalf of the organization
- Support representative(s) to the Health Advocacy Committee in advocacy activities
- Issue letters of support for health advocacy initiatives in other orgs
- Reach out to other orgs (clubs, advocacy orgs, government agencies) for collaborations on health advocacy issues
- Educate general members on advocacy/ health advocacy related issues
