Hey Chesties! My name is Danny, and I’m from Los Angeles, CA. I am a first gen, Mexican/Filipino student aspiring to represent my background in the medical field while delivering quality and accessible care to address disparities impacting my community. I joined CHE because of the familia. CHE is a communidad of inspiring students from similar backgrounds who can relate to eachother in one way or another. We all have similar goals of brining power and health equity to Latino communities that we will address in our future careers.
Within PR, my major responsibilities are organzing AJUAS (an event where we come together to pack lunches and informational pamphlets to distribute to journaleros in the Berkeley area). PR also plans additional community service events focused on community health.
