What is Jeeva?

“Jeeva” is a Marathi word which means “energy”, and a Hindi word which means “life”. These two words symbolize the spirit of our clinic, to supply the energy to others in order to live their best life.

Jeeva Clinic was born to fulfill the founders’ basic desire to confront a very serious issue in the largest community in the Bay Area – the prevalence of heart disease in the South Asian population. Literature has proven year after year that South Asians host the highest percentage of cardiovascular diseases in an already high global statistic.

Jeeva Clinic’s Goals:

  1. To provide support and a safe space to the community.
  2. To provide free and quick consultation to help kickstart a healthier lifestyle.
  3. To provide students interested in healthcare with the opportunity to serve a sector of their community.
  4. To develop lasting relationships with our partners, co-workers, and the community.
