AMATYC Contest Winners

Club Day

The sole purpose of the Evergreen Valley College (EVC) Math Club is to prepare students for the AMATYC Contest , a two-round math contest held each year at community colleges nationwide. EVC was the only college in the entire country last school year (2025-2026) to place in the top two for the first round and the second round , and had an overall ranking of third .

The first round of the contest this year (2026-2027) will take place sometime in early November. To prepare for this contest exam, we will hold meetings in room AB-201 (Acacia) from 12:45 to 1:45 pm on the final three Fridays of next month (October 16, 23, and 30).
