Wylde Ratttz Song to be Released: On September 30, Atlantic Records will release the soundtrack to the Richard Linklater movie School of Rock. The soundtrack will contain the Wylde Ratttz' version of The Stooges' T.V. Eye. T.V. Eye was previously released on the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack, though with a Ewan McGregor vocal in place of Mark's. Supposedly, later pressings of the record contained the version with the Mark vocal. The Wylde Ratttz (wylderatttz.com. No mp3s are from the session that Mark did) are Mark, Thurston Moore, Steve Shelley, Mike Watt and Ron Asheton.

Reprise Reissues: Today Reprise UK re-released most of Mudhoney's recorded output for the label (the exceptions being Tomorrow Hit Today and a few b-sides and compilation cuts), remastered with additional artwork and many bonus tracks. The bonus tracks for the two re-releases are as follows:

Piece of Cake Bonus Tracks:

My Brother the Cow Bonus Tracks:

The first three bonus songs on Piece of Cake (5046658772) are b-sides from that era that are also available on March to Fuzz. The last seven are the Five Dollar Bob's Mock Cooter Stew EP in its entirety. The first six bonus songs on My Brother the Cow (8122736592) make up the bonus 45 that came with the LP of that album and the seventh song is a b-side from that era, also available on March to Fuzz. It's likely that the hidden backwards track on My Brother the Cow is not included, due to space constraints. Both records are available from amazon.co.uk.

There's an interview with Mark in the September issue of Mojo magazine where he discusses the reissues.
