Happy Birthday, Mudhoney!

32 years in!

In this past year, Mudhoney got around most of America. They released two records - Morning in America, and Pedazo de Pastel, which collects Piece of Cake demos, including a previously-unreleased song. Plus shirts and whatever other merch, all of which you can get from Sub Pop.

They had various side project activity, too. Green River somehow released three records - deluxe editions of Dry as a Bone and Rehab Doll, and Live at the Tropicana 1984. Dan played with The Tripwires and Carmaig de Forest. Steve played and recorded with Sunday State. And Guy continued the electronic resistance playing with Beauty Hunters

For 2020, they've got a tour booked for the Western US and Canada. Perhaps they'll return to Europe in the Fall. For records, look for a split-45 with the Meat Puppets for their tour dates together in May, and perhaps a contribution to a Really Red tribute record.

Today also marks the 22nd anniversary of this website. That's a long time! Thanks to everyone who wrote in to contribute information to this site over the past year (and the previous 21). It's always appreciated, and you can do it at ptn@ocf.berkeley.edu.
